Callie Sharp passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8th in Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jamie Kelly officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Callie Jean Sharp was born August 11, 1953 in Bartlesville to Roy Lewis and Mary Juanita (Williams) Clark. Callie was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards, listening to music and family gatherings. Callie was the first child recipient to receive an experimental open heart surgery. A team of doctors replaced the hole in her heart with a sea sponge that was only temporary. Callie was only given a short life expectancy and surpassed all the doctors. She had strength and the will to live life as she saw fit. Callie had a hard life due to her heart but she didn't let that from her daily activities she enjoyed especially her coffee. Callie is survived by her daughter, Ryan and husband Donald Ryan of Bartlesville, two sons; Shannon Swift and wife Elizabeth of Ingleside, TX and Jeremy Swift of Bartlesville. She was blessed with eight grandchildren: Bradly, Cacey, Justin, Hannah, Logan, Joseph, Stephanie, David and four great grandchildren: Rylan, Sofia, Christopher and Dylan. She is also survived by four brothers: Roy Clark Jr. of Fayetteville, AR, Billy Clark of Bartlesville, Rodger Clark and wife Debbie of Bartlesville, William "Bill" Cagle Jr. and wife Laranda of Ft. Smith, AR. Callie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Bacon.
