Clayton Collier passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 6th in the Walker-Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Keller and Reverend Joe Goodin officiating. Interment will follow at the Oglesby Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Clayton Lester Collier was born at the family home on December 16, 1946 in Nowata, OK to William Lester and Helen Lucille (Hughes) Collier. Clayton attended Nowata Public Schools and continued his education at Northeast Oklahoma A&M College graduating with an Associates of Arts degree. He then attended Tri County Tech in Bartlesville majoring in Engineering. Clayton worked for Phillips Petroleum Co. starting in Bartlesville, then going to Odessa, TX, Farmington, NM and returning to Bartlesville before retiring. He traveled internationally after retiring but always enjoyed returning home, back to his roots. Clayton is survived by his sister, Arminda Collier O'Flynn, brother William H. Collier of Nowata, nephew William A. Collier and nieces, Stephanie and Melissa Collier, other relatives and many friends. Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Vincent Collier and sister Ginger Faye Collier.
