Bartlesville’s beautiful garden of loving souls dimmed a little as we lost our beloved Rose Schriber when she passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018. Rose Kathryn Schriber was born January 24, 1928 in Guymon, OK to Charles & Eva (Epperson) Behne. Rose was blessed with an infectious smile and cheerful sunny-side-up demeanor that made her many friends, some of whom became lifelong family. She blessed those closest to her with unconditional unwavering love. She married James Henry Schriber on September 10, 1950. As a wife of a Phillips Petroleum Co. geologist, Rose lived in Tripoli Libya, Lagos Nigeria, Oslo & Stavanger Norway, London England and has made her home in Bartlesville since 1981. Rose was an active member of the Fleur-de-Lis Garden Club and an avid Bridge player; she was also involved in many charitable endeavors locally. She loved to cook and collect recipes, and made her own bread every week until the end of her life.
