John Prentice II

John Prentice II passed away Monday, May 14, 2018.  The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Humble Road Church with Pastor Jeff Wickham officiating. Services are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. John Monroe Prentice II was born July 12, 1957 in Tulsa, OK to John Monroe and Jacqueline Rose (Broshears) Prentice. John served his country in the US Navy. He retired in 2016 from the US Postal Service as a mail carrier. John was a Harley Davison enthusiast and also enjoyed water skiing. John is survived by three daughters: Janelle and husband Nick Swart, Amy Prentice, Nikki Prentice and his father John Prentice all of Bartlesville. He was blessed with five grandchildren: Haley, Makayla, Nathan, Samantha and Trinity. He is also survived by two sisters; Lynn Palmer and Julie Boothe along with numerous nieces, nephews, special friend Pam Prentice and many friends. John was preceded in death by his mother Jacqueline Prentice. Online condolences for the family can be made at

    Janelle, Amy, Nikki, and Pam, I am so very sorry for your loss. John was an amazing man and I have so many memories of him from my younger days being at the house with Nikki. He will be truely missed. Prayers to all.
